| BCIC's mission is to promote economic development - which in turn enhances the quality of life for our residents - across British Columbia, through innovative applications of science and technology. The council is a provincial crown agency, which brings together two respected technology organizations: the Innovation and Science Council of BC and the Advanced Systems Institute of BC. Building on our reputation for research, collaboration and commercialization, the BC Innovation Council's mandate is to accelerate and expand science and technology-based economic development to make British Columbia one of the world's top ten technology centres. | |
